School Visits UWI Archives

On Monday 6 December, 2010, over forty 2nd form students from St. Hugh’s High School, Kingston Jamaica, visited and toured the UWI Archives in their quest to “Develop the Skills of a Historian”.  In addition to walking through the stacks, the students saw an exhibition on the role of the University Archives and a table showcasing some of our holdings, mainly administrative files, bound volumes, and maps. Some publications, which  contains information housed at the University Archives, were also featured.
