Stanley Griffin, Assistant Archivist, attended the IXth Meeting of the Caribbean Branch of the International Council of Archives CARBICA in Port of Spain Trinidad. The quad-annual meeting of CARBICA in Trinidad provided an opportunity for archivists around the region, as far north as Haiti and as southerly as Suriname, to meet, discuss and network.  This meeting dealted with two vital aspects of the archival profession, namely: disaster preparedness and electronic records management, which were the focus of two workshops.
