The April 2015 Farewell function for Vice Chancellor Harris had many heart warming moments led by the Chancellor of The UWI, Professor Sir George Alleyne’s remarks and business-like marshalling by the Master of Ceremony Mr C. William Iton, the University Registrar .

Everyone in attendance must have enjoyed the outpouring towards outgoing Vice Chancellor and his wife Dr Yvette Williams-Harris. The UWI family collectively applauded as they witnessed a congratulatory hug between the outgoing Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor designate following his tribute.

Professor Sir Hilary Beckles will be installed formally as The Vice Chancellor at the Cave Hill Campus in Barbados on May 30, 2015.
