The UWI Museum has collaborated with our University Archives colleagues to mount a cameo exhibition, Keeping the Record Straight: The Work of the University Archives.

The exhibition offers snapshots of the work of the Archives and is a companion piece to a June 18 International Archives Day lecture given by UWI Pro Vice-Chancellor and Professor Alan Cobley, titled “Keeping The Record Straight: Uses and Abuses of Archives”: a lecture in which the speaker entertained, shone light on hard issues in maintaining important records, and also urged action to overcome instances where departing colonisers and invaders have taken records with them as they went.
